John can turn your conventional get-together into a memorable, fun-filled and educational tour of Virginia wine. Over the last six years John has managed dozens of such events and brings his considerable knowledge of wine to bear on all aspects of the subject.
Of particular interest to businesses and families is his, OUR TASTING ROOM TO YOUR LIVING ROOM program. This party concept brings the ambiance of Rappahannock Cellars' tasting room to your home, community center or office, at very affordable rates.
At these events, John typically pours five to seven wines. He provides commentary on the vineyard and cellar production of the wines, and enlivens the event with stories and historical perspective on winemaking in Virginia, from the 1600s to today. Wines are available for sale by the glass or bottle. All required ABC permits, stemware and set-up materials are included. It?s a turnkey affair that let?s you relax and enjoy your party, confident that each guest will enjoy a unique experience.
