My husband, Jeff and I moved to South Wales in April of 2001 as he retired from the Navy. For the past 7 years I have worked as a Special Education teacher, first in Fauquier County, and for the past 5 in Culpeper County.

I have two grown children. My daughter lives in Bealton, and my son is in the Navy and stationed in Everett, WA. My son is married to a wonderful girl, and they have 2 baby boys born 10 months apart, Jacob Andrew and Ryan Walker.

This WEB site comes at a great time for me as I will be leaving my current job at the end of the year, and look forward to being able to attend coffees and get togethers with my neighbors.

I enjoy reading and writing and I'm interested in the rich history of this area. I am active in conservative causes, and will become more so, now that I have the time. I have a blog and Twitter account, and if you are interested in those things, I would love to correspond.

We love South Wales, and are very happy and thankful to live here.
