Trash Collection

I've received some questions lately about how Culpeper Trash Company handles recycle material we place at the curb. The driver used to sort each recycle item into separate compartments of a special truck. The truck then went to a recycle center in Culpeper. This process changed a few months ago. A separate truck is still used for recycle but there is no sorting at the curb, everything is thrown together. The truck then goes to Carusa Hershman Recycling Company in Manassas where it's contents are sorted and processed by that company.

Your board of directors recently renewed the contract with Culpeper Trash for an additional three years at no increase in cost.
